Minera Company
Based in Nancy in the Grand-Est region, and mobile in France and neighboring countries, the Minera company explores the intersections that naturally form around flamenco by bringing together artists from different cultural and musical backgrounds.
She created her first show as part of the Festival International Arte Flamenco of Mont-de-Marsan. She is supported by Assuntina Gessa, dancer, choreographer and artistic director, and Csaba Ökrös, musician and associated composer. Both have the desire to explore the intersections between flamenco and other choreographic and musical universes.
Surrounded by a solid artistic and technical team and thanks to the support of partners, Csaba & Assuntina develop creations where the artistic identities of each meet around the same rhythmic language, the famous claves specific to flamenco: the compas. A certain transgression of traditional codes is sought in connection with the personalities of the artists, around the rhythmic interpretation that results from it, and the aesthetic and choreographic research. In connection with its shows, the Minera company develops an axis of research and transmission, by meeting audiences, imagining meetings, workshops and shared creations, and offering regular flamenco classes.
