Regreso “Tablao” seeks to connect the codes of the traditional flamenco dance show with different musical influences, to extract a rhythmic approach and particular colors. The dancer plays a traditional flamenco baile that is tinged with pantomime and thus stands out at times from the codified repertoire of usual expressions. Each tableau of the show is subtly inspired by other cultural universes: traditional Hungarian music, Spanish classical music, folk atmosphere or rhythmic interpretation of the flamenco compas in Cuban tumbao and montuno. The dance show choreographed on original musical compositions mixed with reinterpreted folk melodies, tells the story of the desire to appropriate traditional flamenco, by a dancer and musicians from the Mediterranean world, Central Europe and Latin America.
